The Texas Association of Appraisal Districts has issued a press release regarding value increases across the state.  Click here to read it.

Due to changes made by Senate Bill 2 during the 86th legislative session, the estimate of tax is no longer present on the value notice. The website, hill.countytaxrates.com/tax, provides an estimate of taxes, as well as other information about the setting of entity tax rates.

If you are looking to pay your taxes online, please click “Property Search.  Once you have located your property, the “Pay Taxes” button is at the top left of the page.

Welcome to Hill County Appraisal District

This web page is designed to provide appraisal and tax information on properties located in Hill County, Texas. You will be able to access a variety of information. We are continually working to add more valuable data to this site.

The Hill County Appraisal District’s primary responsibilities include the discovery and listing of all taxable property into the appraisal records; to appraise all taxable property at market value; administer exemptions and special use valuations and basically be a central location for all information used by the taxing jurisdictions in Hill County.

The district serves 39 taxing entities and collects taxes for 21 of those jurisdictions. Hill CAD is currently staffed with 16 property tax professionals.
